A Sneak Peek at the Great Googa Mooga, Taking Over Prospect Park this Weekend

all photos by craig cavalloThe Great Googa Mooga is finally here.  Festivities kick off tomorrow morning at 11:15.  A stroll through Prospect Park today reveals what looks as if Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory has gone savory.

There's going to be a bike valet on the west side of the park, just off of West Drive at the 16th Street entrance.

Here's where the Extra Mooga ticket holders will be checking in.  The tent is on the east side of the park, off East Lake Drive.

The main stage.

This is only an arm of the beast that calls itself The Great Googa Mooga.  The 75 food vendor stands line the perimeter of the Googa Mooga site.

More stands.  Each of the vendors are featuring one dish, which is listed on the sign next to their name.  Don't worry, Do or Dine's foie gras doughnuts will be there.

Dozens of these chest high tables will support elbows and beer this weekend.
